Hey folks!

I just created a new flash game. You should know the hangman game. It's simple. Guess the word which is hidden.
It took me longer to find words than to create the smilie-animation. Whoo.

Hey Leute!

Ich hab gerade wieder ein Flash-Spiel erstellt. Solltet Ihr kennen. Ihr müsst erraten, welches Wort sich hinter den Linien verbirgt.
Es hat länger gebraucht, die englischen Wörter zu finden und einzutragen, als die Smilie-Animation zu erstellen. Whuu.
... ich kann einer englischen Community ja keine deutschen Wörter andrehen.

That's really awesome! I'm amazed that someone can make one of these on here, it's a whole little game in itself. I love the little board-dude as well, it's nice how you've added little details like the shading on the board and the chalkdust when it's cleaned.

First it was just a word-guessing game ... but our little emoticon dude there makes it a hangman game. Remember those days in school playing that game in the free time

I believe that just the small details make a piece of art impressive. Details where they are needed instead of details everywhere.

Am I wrong ^^?

Lol we used to play it in lectures too, never mind free time

I like details anywhere and everywhere, though if there are too many they overcrowd the artwork, and for a small piece it's best to make it simple and just use details where they're needed. He's very cute anyway ^^ Can I have him now?

Like so many, i'm still hoping to make a 2D gamer one day with my characters.

(hoping one day adding all people who watch me to that game)

Though I'm bashing into lotsa troubles. xD

(Characters stuck in walls at the beginning and stuff)

And... I'm always here if you need help with Flash. As for me, I'm not just programing simple games. I'm working on the concept of a RPG-styled "community". Check it out here. The way I move the character is simple, though.
As for the grafics, I use tilesets. So every part has the same width and height, perfect to move the character. I don't know what style your dream-game is like. But you can ask everytime. I like Action Script very much
