Hello everybody!

It has been ... a while since my last journal post.
It has been a busy time. It has been a creative time.

But it hasn't been that much time for deviantART, and that's something I'd like to change. Call it a New Year's resolution.

I have been getting favorites all over the last three years, and most of them have been for my icon series (we'll get to that later) and a game of mine which I never actually finished. Frankly, I was never pleased with what I had done back in 2006.

Time's passed, and I've learnt a lot about Flash, ActionScript, design, games and programming, and I finally started a new version.
It's not polished enough, but you can play the development build while I'm on new game modes and balance. It's right here:

This version features no sound (that's an improvement), high scores (that are about to get cleared once I finished polishing), even more game modes and way more frames per second!
If you'd like to help me finishing the game, making it a well-designed, balanced and enjoyable piece of code, you can check out its source code at github.com. Yes, you're right. It's no secret.
Small projects like this deserve to be open-source.

Arrow Mania is in the rise, but I also mentioned my dock icons.

I put a lot of effort in these sets. Most of them were hand-crafted, every single icon done vector by vector. And icons and programs sum up, so I ended up having a lot of wishes on my list, but having multiple sets I had to edit and extend, and that had been way too much work for me, so I stopped working on these.
Although I stated "Coming soon" and "They're back", I cannot say when exactly I'm able to "ship".
I'm currently working on a method to create all sets in a batch once and for all. I've got a working prototype that takes classes for plugins, that will create icons from a set of parameters (colors, labels and gradients). The idea is to create a library with programs that will contain all those colors, and the program will create a .zip file that contains every set and every icon.
This means that every icon in every set is about to change. That means that custom icons will not be possible, unless I find an easy way for vector forms instead of labels. That also means that I can serve icons faster.
But there's still a lot of stuff to do: writing a GUI, finishing the classes and finding the perfect metrics.

As if this wasn't enough, I'm also doing a sequel to this work:

You see, I'm on a lot of stuff, and I'm trying to get them done, but please be patient.

Enjoy the last days of 2012, and please enjoy every single day of 2013.
Oh, and thanks to Alquicira (best buddy on deviantART of 2009 and 2012) for the hard work recently. I'm looking forward to the commissions and the calendar.
I'll be back.

Thanks for all of your support. I'm not able to thank every single one of you anymore, because deviantART deleted most of the activity messages. But your comments, favorites and messages are most appreciated.

PS (And they will always be. Don't stop here!)
